Job summary

Michaels Stores in San Diego is hiring a Retail Team Member to help customers, process transactions, and support store operations. You will assist shoppers, enroll members in rewards, and participate in omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires staying active in a fast-paced retail environment and supporting inventory and safety programs. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and work flexible hours including evenings

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
Provide a fast checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Interact with others in a respectful manner and be a role model.
Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
