Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member for its Encinitas, CA store to assist customers, process transactions, and support merchandising and stock duties. The role includes helping shoppers find products, promoting the Rewards program, and participating in omni-channel services such as BOPIS and SFS.

The position emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a climate-controlled public retail environment, with potential evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise flow, returns, and go-backs.
