Job summary

Michaels in TURLOCK, CA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience while unloading trucks and stocking merchandise.

You will help customers locate products, participate in omni-channel tasks (BOPIS/SFS), and support store recovery, safety, and SOP compliance. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with the ability to stand long hours and lift boxes.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS omni-channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store; complete merchandise recovery and go-back processes.
• Support SISO and AD set duties; assist shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
