Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. NWK-East Hanover, NJ store is hiring a team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, promoting the rewards program, participating in BOPIS/SFS processes, and following SOPs. Applicants must be 16+ and be prepared for nights, weekends, and early shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC and participate in surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise appearance; support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; project a positive image as a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
