Job summary

Michaels in Concord, NC is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, manage planograms, and support Omni channel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, while following SOPs. Applicants must be at least sixteen years old; Michaels offers a benefits package including employee discounts and access to partner programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive image and serve as a role model
