Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Holmdel, NJ is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You’ll also participate in omni-channel tasks (BOPIS/SFS), support inventory accuracy, and follow SOPs to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment. Previous retail experience valued.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers quickly.
• Provide fast, accurate checkout and handle cash according to standards.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Keep store recovery standards, backroom organization and in-stock levels.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support BOPIS and Ship From Store processes when needed.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and company policies.
