Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate in Clemson, SC to assist customers, stock shelves, and ensure a clean, well-merchandised store. You will help customers find products, process transactions, and participate in truck unloads and floor recovery.

This role supports Omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, and cross training in Custom Framing. Retail or customer service experience is preferred; physical requirements apply, and employees enjoy store discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand long periods and lift/move merchandise.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Cash handling and POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram activities.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions.
