Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Anderson, SC is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member to help customers, stock merchandise, and process transactions. You’ll assist with framing tasks and support omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work varied shifts in a busy retail setting. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can stand for long periods, and are comfortable with lifting and bending.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find products.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram setup.
• Perform stock recovery and maintain store standards across C-store areas.
• Support shrink control and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and teammates; model company values.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
