Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for a store role in Charlotte to assist customers, ring up purchases, and enroll them in Rewards. You will help with BOPIS/SFS, stock shelves, and support merchandising and frame shop activities. The job requires standing, lifting, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, move around the store, and lift heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Explain Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and promote participation.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution.
• Maintain stock through merchandise recovery and in-stock programs.
• Support SISO and AD-set duties; assist shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
