Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store team member in Pittsburgh. You will assist customers, locate items, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.

You’ll participate in stocking, merchandising, and omni-channel tasks like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, while upholding store recovery and safety standards. The role involves interacting with customers, promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and potentially cross-training in Custom Framing.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Comfortable engaging customers about rewards programs and credit options.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash accurately.
• Educate customers on rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll them.
• Assist with omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain store recovery, stock, and in-stock conditions; support safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and teammates.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
