Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Seasonal Service Team Member for Store - 1430 Gracy Center Way Ste 300 in Pittsburgh area. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure fast checkout.

You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandising while upholding store recovery standards and brand promises. Engagement includes omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, participation in VOC surveys, and cross-training in Custom Framing.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older per Michaels policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure a fast checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties; maintain store recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including go-back/return; ensure in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and Company policies.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner; promote company vision and values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
