Job summary

Michaels in the Pitt-WASHINGTON, PA area is seeking a team member to assist customers, help them locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to keep the floor well merchandised and in stock.

As part of the team, you will promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, enroll customers, and support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to engage customers, answer questions, and provide solutions.
• Comfort with handling cash and POS operation.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and perform cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to stay well merchandised and in stock.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Interact positively with coworkers and embody Michaels' values.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
