Job summary

Michaels is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and merchandise recovery while upholding store standards and policies. The role involves omni-channel support (BOPIS/SFS) and promoting rewards programs, with a focus on excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, move around the store, and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery tasks to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with all customers and teammates; be a positive role model.
