Job summary

Michaels Stores in Chicago Ridge, IL is seeking team members with evening and weekend availability to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find what they’re looking for, and keep the store running smoothly.

You’ll complete checkout with accurate cash handling, assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and participate in BOPIS and Ship From Store processes while upholding SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and operate checkout to standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on loyalty programs and enroll them when appropriate.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery, shelf standards, and in-stock conditions.
