Job summary

Michaels in Norridge, IL is hiring and welcomes team members who can deliver friendly, efficient customer service across a busy retail environment. You will assist shoppers, guide product selection, and participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance to ensure a well-stocked store.

The role includes promoting the Michaels Rewards program and handling basic cash transactions at the register.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions to standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers as needed.
• Inform customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and collect feedback.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Help with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining shelves and planograms (POGs).
• Perform merchandise recovery and general store recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.
