Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience at the CHI-Chicago/Clark St store. You’ll help customers find items, enroll them in Rewards and Private Label programs, and participate in omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and Ship From Store.

Preferred candidates have retail or customer service experience, are able to stand long hours, and can lift/move items as part of store operations.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; manage cash handling to standards.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Support truck unload, stocking, and planograms.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandising.
