Job summary

Michaels Store in Ocean Landings-Berlin, MD is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers with finding products. You will help with checkout, process transactions, and enroll customers in rewards programs.

Responsibilities include truck unload, stock replenishment, planogram compliance, and involvement in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store. Physical requirements and a varied schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance
• Interact respectfully with others; promote company vision and values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
