Job summary

Michaels Stores in SAGINAW, MI is seeking a store associate to help customers, process transactions, and keep the floor merchandised. You will aid shoppers, locate products, and enroll customers in Rewards programs.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms, as well as supporting Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store operations. The role requires standing, lifting, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
