Job summary

Michaels in Charlottesville, VA seeks a team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising while supporting store recovery and Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Cross training in framing is available. The role emphasizes customer engagement, adherence to SOPs, and participation in safety programs; 16+ years old required with a climate-controlled public retail

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; support shrink and safety programs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
