Job summary

Michaels Stores in Richmond, VA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading and merchandise duties to keep the store well stocked.

This role may involve assisting with BOPIS/SFS, maintaining planograms, and adhering to SOPs. Minimum age is 16; ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads is required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and in-stock store maintenance
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact professionally with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
