Job summary

Michaels Stores in Fairfax, VA is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service and support in-store operations. You will help customers locate products, engage in rewards programs, and participate in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, and maintaining in-stock conditions, with emphasis on safety and compliance. Weekend/evening shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and Company policies.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner; be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
