Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in a public retail environment. You will assist customers, guide product searches, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling.

You’ll also participate in stocking, merchandising, and supporting omnichannel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to SOPs, and a positive representation of Michaels, with opportunities to cross-train in framing and other duties

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards
• Explain Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store
• Assist truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
• Maintain stock and merchandise recovery including returns
• Execute Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies
• Be a positive role model and promote company values
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
