Job summary

Michaels is hiring a Store Associate in Stafford, VA to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout. You will help locate products, support omnicommerce processes (BOPIS/SFS), and participate in unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms. Training in framing is offered; experience in retail is preferred.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, adherence to SOPs, and contributing to a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs; keep store well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive, respectful store environment.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
