Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a Store Associate at the Raleigh, NC location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You’ll also participate in stock, returns, and store recovery to keep the floor in stock and well-merchandised. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can stand for long periods, and are comfortable with evenings, weekends, and early shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early shifts.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them when appropriate.
• Assist with store recovery, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Participate in omni-channel processes and in-store operations as needed.
• Support safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
