Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a retail team member at our Raleigh, NC store. You will assist customers, guide product selection, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll engage shoppers with rewards programs and private label credit options, while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, maintenance, and common store recovery. The role involves standing for long periods and manual lifting; training in framing is available.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and promote positive store image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
