Job summary

Michaels Carson City, NV store is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and provide fast, accurate checkout. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised store.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with locating products, enrolling them in rewards programs, supporting Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store, and following SOPs to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain stock, handle returns, and ensure a well-merchandised store.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully with customers and team members; uphold the company's values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
