Job summary

Michaels in Alameda, CA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and process checkout efficiently.

You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining store standards while supporting BOPIS/SFS and rewards program enrollment. Cross training in Custom Framing is possible, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and be a role model.
