Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store team member in Stockton, CA. You will welcome and assist customers, help locate products, and ensure fast, accurate checkout with proper cash handling. You’ll engage customers in rewards programs, support omnichannel orders, and keep the floor well-stocked with planograms.

Strong retail or customer service experience is preferred. This role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining store standards including safety and shrink programs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image and teamwork
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
