Job summary

Michaels is looking for a friendly team member to assist customers, stock shelves, and run efficient checkouts in a fast-paced retail environment. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and helping customers find products while promoting rewards programs and omni-channel options.

As part of Michaels, you will participate in store recovery, planograms, and safety initiatives, with long hours and physical activity expected in a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store
• Willingness to learn about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and omnichannel options (BOPIS/SFS)
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and SISO/AD set tasks
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs
