Job summary

Michaels in Tracy, CA is seeking a friendly Store Associate to assist customers, guide product selection, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain the store's appearance to meet branding standards.

You will participate in omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS), enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and support store recovery, inventory, and safety programs while delivering excellent service in a climate-controlled

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including the return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain professional conduct
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
