Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in DET-COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MI. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout with proper cash handling.

You may assist with Omni channel processes, truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. The role involves participating in POS transactions, VOC education, and engagement with the Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Candidates must be sixteen years or older per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process and store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact positively with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
