Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring at the BOS-Braintree store to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintain the store to deliver a well-merchandised, in-stock environment.

Retail or customer service experience is preferred. Roles include BOPIS/SFS support, engaging customers in the Rewards program, and upholding store standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Familiarity with BOPIS and SFS processes is a plus.
• Must meet legal requirements and be 16+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Interact respectfully and project a positive image; greet customers
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
