Job summary

Michaels in New Castle, PA is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and provide a fast checkout with accurate cash handling.

You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms, while maintaining store recovery and merchandise presentation. The role supports rewards enrollment, VOC education, and Omni channel processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, and reach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain compliance.
• Interact with others respectfully; promote company values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
