Job summary

Michaels Store in New Castle, PA is hiring for a Store Associate who will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. The role includes truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising duties, with cross-training in Custom Framing.

Requires ability to stand long hours and lift heavy items. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support Omni channel processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Able to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves
• Friendly, helpful demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain professional conduct
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
