Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Team Member at our Frederick, MD location. You will help customers, stock merchandise, and process transactions, ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience and strong store recovery.

You will engage customers with the Rewards program and private-label offers, while supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. The role involves standing for long periods, stocking tasks, and complying with SOPs and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong cash handling and checkout skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain store appearance through merchandise recovery and in-stock levels.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
