Job summary

Northwest Real Estate Capital Corp. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for a temporary three-month assignment. The role includes grounds cleanup, preventative maintenance, repairs, turnovers, and janitorial tasks.

The technician will work on-site under the Property Manager, maintaining a hazard-free environment and high cleanliness standards. Technical expertise in building trades is highly desired, along with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent and technical training/experience in a building trade are required.
• Two years or more in skilled maintenance work is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, carpentry or wall repair, and minor plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, heating.
• Secures, cleans, repairs, and applies bed bug treatment to all units during turnover as directed by the Property Manager.
• Maintains exterior common areas and grounds, including lawns, shrubbery, and trash pickup.
• Provides on-call maintenance service and responds to emergencies as instructed.
