Job summary

Snowshoe is seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team for the seasonal period. You will work with Chefs and Kitchen Managers to deliver quality dining experiences while enjoying mountain lifestyle perks.

Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, planning menu items, and ensuring food quality and safety standards. Prior kitchen supervision and strong leadership are essential, with flexible scheduling across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a similar role preferred.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and developing team members.
• Knowledge of food cost management and portion control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build positive interdepartmental relationships.
• Supervise food preparation and kitchen staff.
• Develop and implement menu items.
• Plan and manage events with F&B leadership.
• Train and lead kitchen staff.
