Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations, oversee up to 30 staff, and ensure high-quality food, safety, and profitability during peak seasonal needs.

You will manage menus, cost controls, staff training, and cross-functional communication with resort teams, while maintaining exceptional guest service and consistent kitchen standards.

Qualifications

• Two+ years post-high school education preferred
• Culinary education desirable
• West Virginia Food Handlers Certificate required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulations, control costs, and maintain our standards.
• Maintain food control systems/margins and menu relevance with the Executive Chef.
• Address maintenance, hygiene, and safety concerns promptly.
• Lead kitchen operations, quality, and admin functions.
• Oversee up to 30 positions directly (Sous Chef, Line Cooks, Utility Workers).
