Job summary

Coach is a global fashion house at the forefront of luxury retail, offering an elevated shopping experience. The Sales Associate role in our Chicago stores focuses on delivering personalized service, meeting individual and store sales goals, and supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will build strong client relationships, leverage POS and social selling tools, and contribute to inventory management, visual merchandising, and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience (luxury retail preferred); knowledge of fashion trends and competitors.
• Experience with POS operation, basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS), walkie-talkie use, reading price sheets.
• Strong English proficiency.
• Luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demos, clienteling and data acquisition (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong English language proficiency (EU note may apply).

Responsibilities

• Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and adhere to style and service standards.
• Build lasting client relationships through styling, product knowledge, and fashion advice.
• Drive sales through cross-selling and tailored recommendations.
• Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture data and encourage repeat purchases.
• Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed KPIs.
• Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales.
• Maintain energy on the floor; manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques.
• Complete daily tasks (cash wrap, inventory, replenishment, visual merchandising).
• Keep floor and stockroom clean and organized; follow POS and asset protection procedures.
• Process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups).
• Support inventory cycles: receive shipments and move product.
• Assist teammates in other areas as needed; foster collaboration and a positive environment.
