Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced camp environment.

The on-site, live-in position requires a minimum six-day, 70-hour week with opportunities for a performance-based bonus and a travel allowance. Competitive pay includes room and board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capabilities, and high computer literacy.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; manage health dept sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
