Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead a high-volume camp kitchen on-site. This seasonal contract (May–Sept) is full-time, exempt, with a live-in arrangement across rural camp facilities in the US. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure allergen safety and quality throughout service.

The role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 6-day/70-hour week environment. Competitive pay and room & board are included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• Scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required).
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operations, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Maintain allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, and budgets with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen ops, campers, and Wolfoods office.
