Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for each daypart, manage staff, and uphold allergen safety while delivering high-volume meals.

This seasonal contract runs May through September, with full-time hours (minimum 6 days / 70 hours per week). Competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room and board are provided, along with travel allowance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership; scratch baking; proficient with iPad.
• Physical ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work 6 days / 70 hours per week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part, staff management, and allergen safety.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Liaise between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
