Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager for an on-site, seasonal contract at rural summer camp facilities across the US.

You will lead daily culinary operations, manage a kitchen team, handle budgeting, and ensure allergen safety and sanitation in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This live-in role requires a 6-day/70-hour week commitment and offers full room & board, travel allowance, and a competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens certification prior to start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic camp setting.
• Proficient computer literacy and staff scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee daily culinary operations, production flow, and menu specs.
• Manage inventory, food orders, and budgeting/reporting.
• Enforce allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
