Job summary

Stag Lodge in Park City, UT is seeking a talented Line Cook for the winter season at Café 52. Join a close-knit culinary team delivering elevated dining experiences in a fast-paced, ski-in/ski-out setting.

You will prepare and execute dinner items, maintain high quality and safety standards, and collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure timely service. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, strong knife skills, and a passion for guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in fine dining or upscale environments.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of essential cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, etc.).
• Ability to independently manage a kitchen station while maintaining quality during busy service.
• Knowledge of food handling, storage, sanitation, and dietary accommodations.
• Strong communication and collaboration with the culinary team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Positive attitude, work ethic, and willingness to develop culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Manage assigned kitchen stations, including daily prep, organization, service, and closing duties.
• Prepare and cook a variety of menu offerings including lunch dishes, pizzas, appetizers, bar food, and elevated après-ski items.
• Follow established recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain a clean, stocked workstation throughout each shift.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.
