Mountain Capital Partners LLC's Purgatory ski resort is seeking a Lead Line Cook to supervise the line during assigned AM or PM shifts, coach cooks, and support the Executive Chef with staffing, ordering, and menu execution for a high-volume kitchen serving thousands of guests daily. This seasonal role runs November 15, 2026 through April 15, 2027, with a free season pass for you and dependents.

Candidates should have 5+ years in kitchens, strong leadership, knife skills, and ServSafe

Qualifikationen

5+ years kitchen experience, including high-volume resort kitchens.
1+ year in shift-lead or kitchen-management capacity.
ServSafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Aufgaben

Run and oversee the full line during an assigned AM or PM shift.
Train, coach, and set the pace for cooks at every level (I-IV).
Assign stations and adjust staffing on the fly during rushes.
Own ordering, par levels, and inventory tracking for assigned shift(s).
Support menu costing, food cost tracking, and waste reduction efforts.
Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards are met.
Step into any station as needed to keep service moving.
Communicate with Executive Chef and management on staffing, 86's, and service issues.
