Job summary

Schweitzer Mountain Resort is seeking a Seasonal Line Cook to prepare a variety of cafe items for breakfast and lunch in a fast-paced kitchen. Candidates should emphasize quality, freshness, and safe food handling while working in a back-side location.

Experience with skiing or snowboarding at an intermediate level is preferred; employment can be full-time or part-time seasonally. Perks include resort access, housing, and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Idaho Food Safety Certification is provided or required.
• Cooking skills and basic kitchen skills are required.
• Intermediate ski or snowboard ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all food preparation tasks per recipes and quality standards.
• Cook and assemble menu items for breakfast and lunch.
• Clean grill, broiler and hood system nightly.
• Clean fryer and roaster when necessary.
• Maintain all product coolers.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
