Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a high-volume setting.

You will ensure quality scratch cooking, manage inventory and ordering, and coordinate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office. The role runs May through September with competitive pay and a bonus structure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens certification preferred/required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory, food orders, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
