Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp sites across the US. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will lead kitchen teams, ensure scratch cooking, manage inventory and orders, and coordinate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience
• ServSafe Manager Certification required (Allergens waivers provided by Wolfoods)
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and service.
• Manage allergen protocols and sanitary standards (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.).
• Handle inventory, food orders, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
