Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. You will supervise daily culinary operations, manage staff, budget, and ensure allergen safety across high-volume service.

This on-site, live-in position demands a strong leader who can thrive under pressure, maintain top sanitation, and guide a seasonal team May through Sept while delivering scratch cooking in a camp setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• ServSafe Manager certification is required (Allergens knowledge preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
