Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at a rural summer camp network. You will supervise all daily culinary operations, mentor staff, manage budgets, and uphold strict allergen safety standards to deliver high-quality, scratch-cooked meals.

This live-in, seasonal role runs May through September, requiring a demanding 6-day/70-hour week in diverse camp settings and travel across the US.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens training or certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and lead a high-energy team.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for camp dining operations.
• Ensure allergen safety protocols and health department standards are met.
• Coordinate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
